Two-glazed system
The HITZE double-glazing system is an optional solution in which an additional internal pane is installed behind the external door glazing. This improves thermal conditions in the combustion chamber while simultaneously limiting direct heat emission through the fireplace front.

View of the fire and comfort of use
The additional glass helps maintain a higher temperature inside the firebox. This promotes proper combustion and reduces the buildup of soot and other contaminants on the glass. This allows for a clear view of the fire to remain for a longer period of time.
Reducing the intensity of heat radiation directly in front of the fireplace also increases the comfort of using the device in its immediate vicinity.

Selection and use
A double-glazed system does not eliminate the need for periodic cleaning of the glass. The degree of soiling also depends on the quality and moisture content of the wood, chimney draft parameters, and how the appliance is used.
